Boozy Adult Popsicle Cocktail

My love for childhood treats has stuck with me…even outside of childhood. Hence my love for cotton candy and amping it up to create alcoholic cotton candy. It has always been fun to create something new in the kitchen. As summer time is rolling around, here in Texas, we need anything to help cool off. Here comes some boozy popsicles to help beat the heat and a great backyard kickback treat!

Ingredients: 1 bottle of Moscato de Asti by Cupcake Vineyards (or any sparkling white wine) // Fresh Strawberries // 1 small container Fresh Raspberries (handful) // Peach Schnapps // Ice Pop Molds // Granulated Sugar // 2 Fresh Peaches // Lemon Slices & Mint for garnish // Gold Edible Sugar //

Step 1: Prep & rinse fruit (slice strawberries, peel and slice 2 peaches). Place at the bottom of the pitcher.

Step 2: Pour a full bottle of Moscato de Asti into a glass pitcher…yes the ENTIRE bottle.

Step 3: Add 1 cup of Granulated Sugar and 3/4 cup of Peach Schnapps and stir until dissolved.

Step 4: Place two pinches of gold sugar in the bottom of ice pop molds.

Step 5: Scoop out a mixture of fruit and place in each mold. Pour boozy beverage into each mold.

Step 6: Freeze molds for minimum 6 hours to solidify mold. To remove popsicles rinse the plastic mold under warm water for approximately 30-60 seconds.

Step 7: Indulge in the pops for a delicious treat!

Have you made summer popsicles before? What are some of your favorite mixtures and ingredients to freeze?
