Cinco de Mayo Fruit Salsa Recipe

One of my favorite holidays – Cinco de Mayo! My love for the Mexican culture is evident from the liveliness, color and of course food! Being from Texas, it is a way of life. I decided to throw a Cinco de Mayo fiesta!

Cinco de Mayo

To pull off the perfect Cinco de Mayo party, I’ve put together a few easy recipes to keep the party going! Check out one of my favorite crowd pleasing treats that has become an addiction and staple in our household.

Fruit Salsa

FRUIT SALSA

Ingredients: 2 cups of cubed strawberries and pineapples, 1 tablespoon of white sugar, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserve.

I’m all about the ease and semi homemade so rather than making cinnamon baked chips, I picked up some of Stacy’s Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips.

Instructions:

1. Mix thoroughly all the ingredients above – SO SIMPLE! Allow flavors to mix and mingle for at least 20 minutes before serving.

2. Plate fruit salsa on platter and load up some cinnamon sugar chips and enjoy!
