Citrus Berry Fruit Platter

ree

As Summer is slowly coming to an end and routines are slowly being put in to place, the warm evenings should still call for outdoor evening dining. I remember feeling like I didn't have the right set up or all the "perfect" elements for outdoor dining but all you need is delicious food and great company. And I mean if you want to get extra fancy, a fun seat like a hammock or swing and some string lights.

Grab a family style platter - I opted for a white plate but a wooden round or shallow bowl will also get the job done.

Grab your fruits - Rainier cherries, peaches, pineapple, and strawberries.

Wash your fruit thoroughly and slice the peaches, pineapple and strawberries.

Step one: Lay your largest fruit (pineapple) down the center of the platter to anchor the display.

Step two: Place your sliced peaches on each side of the pineapple slices.

Step three: Add your sliced strawberries to bring some berries in the mix. The red and yellow color looks amazing together!

Step four: Fill in the blank space with cherries - I love the rainier cherries because they are not only delicious, they fit the color palette. We are eating with our eyes remember?

Step five: Finish off with garnish that includes fresh mint leaves and edible floral petals.

Now it's time to present your platter....
