I haven’t always been a camper but fell in love with it a few years back. I always loved the idea of “glamming” up the outdoors too. “How does that happen?” you may wonder…check Pinterest, plenty of “glamping” images to tickle your eyeballs. I am a self-proclaimed foodie, as in I love the presentation and (taste of course) of food…all of it! I decided to take the standard s’more up a notch and put some “adult” on it, (think alcohol..haha!) and here comes this Deconstructed S’more shooter. I’m sure you’ll be the “cool” one after recreating this treat. Take a look at the recipe below..super simple!
Ingredients: Marshmallows, Vanilla Ice Cream, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Chocolate Syrup, Graham Cracker Crumbs, White Chocolate Sauce
Step 1 – Rim your shooter glass with white chocolate and roll into shallow dish of graham cracker crumbs.
Step 2 – Begin to layer the dessert by adding 2 teaspoons of White Chocolate Sauce, follow with 1-2 tablespoons (depends on how heavy your hand is) with ice cream.
Step 3 – Drizzle Chocolate syrup along the edges of the shooter to create a marble effect on the outside – no need to force it, it happens naturally.
Step 4 – Add 2 tablespoons of Bailey’s Irish Cream to and watch the marble-ing effect begin to increase. You can use a toothpick to fold the cream & ice cream together…this also mixes some of the chocolate syrup with the dessert.
Step 5 – Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs “Salt Bae” style (especially if you have people watching) on top to give it that extra oomph.
Step 6 – Skewer 3 marshmallows on a toothpick and top this thang! But wait…how’d I get that toasted look? Brûlée Torch…if you got it then werk it out! If you’re not an “extra” person, just use a match or lighter to give it that extra detailed look.
Step 7 – Bottoms up…enjoy!
