Royal Tea Party – A Social & Craft Event

It’s been a little over two weeks since the Royal Wedding and I’m still IG stalking any new photos of the newlyweds. Obsessed with Meghan’s new style as she now rocks the title Duchess of Sussex. In celebration (like everyone else in the world) of the nuptials, I hosted a Royal Tea Party since all of our invites were lost in the mail.

Elan Heights graciously hosted the event in their Sky Lounge. A beautiful space with a stunning Houston skyline view. It was the perfect photo op for the event.

We had some amazing sponsors that joined in to make this event a success. Alice from The Fussy Hostess created the beautiful signage throughout the space. The color and delicacy set the tone in every aspect. From the bar cart sign, to the party favor gift tag…I love how it was cohesive. Visit her etsy shop to check out what she has a available in stock. I’m sure she would be happy to create something custom for your next event!

The ladies dined on a brunch menu of mini sandwiches, fruit, tarts, lemon bars and everything delicate. You know, the food you eat with your pinky in the air.

Boujee Cuisine provided a pink iced white cake to go along with the theme. Four beautiful layers of icing sure stood out on the moss green cake stand. Can you believe I only paid $5 for it – thanks Dirt Cheap!

What’s a royal celebration without tea?! The ladies were offered a mix of fresh teas from a personal dainty set of china. Additionally, one of our attendees displayed an authentic London based tea set collection – so beautiful!

One day I’ll visit London and invest in an authentic tea set collection but in the meantime, I’ll settle for a beautiful dupe like this and this.

The ladies came decked to the nines. Beautiful tea party dresses with lovely accessories to match!

If you have watched any royalty festivity, you know the hat/fascinator is a staple. I have fell in love with hats – it gives off the right statement. You know, the I’M FABULOUS HUNNY…without having to say I’m fabulous. Love it!

The ladies received a simple guide and tools to create their own fascinators for the event. Click here to download for yourself.

They became so creative and I was amazed at how many different styles and designs one can create with using some color and inspiration.

A special thanks to all the ladies who attended the social and craft event. We left with warm hearts, full bellies and memories made.

Pictures captured by Stacy with Stacy Anderson Photography. A special thanks to her mom for displaying her beautiful china tea set.

Special thanks to Le Grand Courtage for providing mini bubbles for our attendees. What better way to celebrate than with a bottle of bubbly?
