Earlier this year I hosted a fun social event in which I attempted to play the role of Oprah. You know the “You get a car! You get a car!” version. My attempt, however was not that extravagant but I did happen to connect with some talented, fun and sweet ladies at a gorgeous home in Sugar Land.
Westport Inc Homes are beautiful custom homes that have been popping up all over Houston but most recently, in the Sugar Land area. Can’t you tell this home was beautiful? Open floor plan, attention to detail, stainless steel appliances, infiniti pool…you name it, this home had it.
The ladies were a mix of mothers, business owners, bloggers, designers and they all came to the event with the idea of presenting one of their favorite things. Items ranged from certain beauty products to henna to macarons. I just love how creative each of the ladies were. Our eyes were not only opened to new products but some of our favorite items from beauty, lifestyle and food.

Stacy with the Hurried Hostess gifted us with some mini (you all know I love minis) cocktail mixers, be MIXED. We love the variety of flavors and her wrapping was darling!
Another attendee, Naqiya with Paisleys and Swirls, gifted the ladies with henna. Now I am one that’s not for a tattoo but a fabulous design for a week or two, I’m down for.
Super cute fashion blogger Val with Val Around Town gifted everyone with leather dangle earrings. These came in beautiful colors and are the perfect pop of color for the season.
I think if you have been living under and IG rock then you may not know of the insanely talented Mariya with Hèritage Macarons. The macarons that are almost too pretty to eat…ALMOST. The beauty of her macs matches the delicious flavor of each one. I.AM.OB.SESSED!

P.S. Balloon garlands are an obsession….almost to the bar cart level. I had so much fun creating this beauty for the event. It was over the top and fabulous so it fit perfectly.
