#Toast2Texas Girl’s Trip – Kerrville, Texas

Earlier this month, I planned an event I had been dreaming about since the year before and guess what, it finally happened! I was in pure bliss from the dreaming process throughout the planning to the final goodbye from the sweet town. I of course had to invite some other blogger friends on the trip, The Hurried Hostess, Hello Vashti, Positively Beautiful Life. Check out my recap below of a Kerrville, Texas Travel guide and additionally my “Toast 2 Texas” girl’s trip events. Plus I have a pretty cool downloadable at the end…but don’t scroll past all the pretty photos!

Kerrville, Texas – a retirement haven and gem to millionaires it was our destination for a weekend Girl’s Trip. Who would have known all these beautiful things were tucked away in this simple town? Especially the beautiful home of Kim Richards, The Garrett House.

 The Garrett House

This home was a blogger’s dream! Designed with perfect taste, top to bottom. Kerrville may not be your first choice but your thoughts may change after seeing this home.

Food being a major part of any trip I take, Kerrville had some of the loveliest little restaurants where flavor was not a problem. Us Houstonians are foodies beyond and it’s nice to see this town doesn’t waiver in this category.

 Francisco's Restaurant

Francisco’s Restaurant

In the heart of downtown, this corner cafe was the perfect spot for lunch. With daily specials and artistic interior you’ll get your belly fed and eyes fed with all the art on the wall.

You HAVE to visit Rails Cafe. Not only were the owners, a pleasure to meet, this is a hot spot in Kerrville with history to back up it’s name. The food was delicious and picture worthy…go ahead and drool over these delicious captures below.

Another perfect spot was Grape Juice also known as the town’s meeting place, wine stop, restaurant. It is a go to when in town. The waiter was well versed in specials and had great suggestions on what would be the perfect go to item after mentioning what you have a taste for. The bubbles, of course, are PERFECT!

I’m all about activities and doing things outside of the normal. Kim with The Garrett House was able to connect us with Tricia Hamil of Viridian Design Studio. A floral design company whose work is among one of the most detailed & exquisite I have ever seen. Tricia was a pleasure as an instructor and patient with guiding us through our own floral arrangement. We definitely are Viridian Design originals but that’s something to strive for, right?

Us ladies had a great time road tripping on this Texas Girl’s Weekend Trip. A special tip I have to all those who plan events, the excitement starts with the invite. I knew exactly to reach out to Kristal with KandSdotco to create something special for this outing. She designed this gorgeous invite. We even have the free download below where you can recreate your own Texas Girl’s Weekend Trip Itinerary. Be sure to visit Kristal’s website here and fall in love with all of her designs!
